PURPOSE:To prevent cut beads from being raced round the circumference of a resin coated layer, by a method wherein a plurality of tubular bases to the outer circumference the cut beads of which are fixed is fixed to a wire rope through a resin coating by outserting the tubular bases over the wire rope, a slit is formed into the tubular base and the resin is filled into the slit. CONSTITUTION:A wire rope 1 is coated with a resin coated layer 2, a tubular base 3 is outserted over the wire rope 1 and laid under the coating layer 2. The tubular base 3 possesses a slit 3a extending in a pipe axis direction, an inner circumferential surface of the tubular base 3 is stuck to the wire rope 1 through the coated layer 2 and the resin is filled into the slit 2a. The cut beads 4 are in a cylindrical or annular object obtained by sintering alloy metal containing diamond powder 4a, fixed to the outer circumference of the tubular base 3 by soldering and the outermost circunferential surface is ejected outward of the radial direction of the wire rope 1 from the surface of the coated layer 2. |
