PURPOSE:To uniformize the physical properties of a kneaded matter by shortening a kneading time, by a method wherein a ram which is capable of pressing a kneaded matter, a displacement sensor detecting a position of the ram and a projected member projectable within a mixing tank by penetrating through the ram by a signal through the sensor are provided in the mixing tank possessing a kneading rotor. CONSTITUTION:A ram 4 is provided in an upper opening 2a of a mixing tank provided with a pair of rotors 3 on the inside. The ram 4 is penetrated vertically through a projected member 5 and the tip of the projected member 5 is made projectable within the mixing tank 2. A kneaded matter is pressed by the ram 4 by fixed pressure and kneading is started. Although the ram 4 enters the projected member 5 up to a fixed position at a fixed speed, when a lidlike matter 9 is formed, the ram 4 dwells on the way. A position of the ram 4 within the mixing tank 2 is detected by a displacement sensor 10. Then when an entering speed of the ram 4 is changed, it is decided that the lidlike matter 9 is formed, the ram 4 is withdrawn, the projected member 5 is allowed to enter the mixing tank 2 and the lidlike matter is broken down. Kneading is kept on by allowing the ram 4 enters the mixing tank again after that. |
