PURPOSE:To provide a blow molding method, by which a panel-like molded matter having hollow parts therein is favorably manufactured. CONSTITUTION:In a blow molding method for obtaining a resin molded article having a plurality of hollow parts formed therein, at the clamping of a pair of molds 8A and 8B for pinching a parison P, the molds 8A and 8B are brought close to each other so as to bring one face of the parison P near its other face and, at the same time, hold the faces for a certain period of time under the condition that a gap, which is too large to contact with each other, is held between them until the outer surface of the parison solidifies. After the solidification, both the molds 8A and 8B are brought together with each other so as to abut the one face (or the panel front surface 22) with the other face (or the panel rear surface 24) in order to fusion-weld both the faces together. |
