STEERING SHAFT AND ITS MANUFACTURING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the slidable connection capable of smooth sliding by forming a resin coated layer on a sliding part. CONSTITUTION:A slidable connection part A3 consists of an outer shafl A1 and an inner shaft A2 of a steering shaft A which is axially contractable under the shock. The sliding resin stock 5 is poured into the space between a sliding part 4 of the inner shaft A2 and a part 2 to be slid of the outer shaft A1 from an opening part 1a of the outer shaft A1 to form a resin sliding part 6. A resin fixing part 8 is formed at appropriate intervals from the resin sliding part 6.
