PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed torque response by performing a vector calculation by converting in polar coordinates to reduce the number of calculations. CONSTITUTION:A vector calculator 13 performs a vector calculation on the basis of a torque current command value IT* and an exciting current command value I0*, a slip angle frequency omegaS and the phase variation amount DELTAphi of a magnetic flux. A primary current waveform output unit 16 produces and outputs a sinusoidal data of the primary current stored in a data table of a CPU9 on the basis of an interrupt signal INTR input from a 1/n frequency divider 18, a primary angle frequency omega0 calculated by a primary angle fre quency calculator 12, and a phase variation amount DELTAphi input from the calculator 13. A multiplication type digital-to-analog converter 15 obtains U-phase and V-phase primary current command values IU* and IV* from the value I1* and the sinusoidal data. |
