This invention pertains to the railway power supply system, namely the connection sequence for rectifier substation with direct current mainline with multiple branching connected through fast circuit breakers as well as one central rectifying module. According to this invention (fig. 1), a group of switches (6, 7) is connected to each breaker (13, 14) from the pole line side, which in turn by means of two sliding conductors (20, 21) is connected to a commutation device (9) consisting of one or several commutation triple diodes (12), parallel to which, at least, one branch for electric arc extinction is connected. The invention may have several implementation variations, which differ in the arrangement of the central rectifying module (adjustable, non-adjustable, partly adjustable), group of switches and arc extinction branches as well as the connection layout of the commutation triple diodes. A connection sequence with a partly controllable rectifier is shown in fig.1.<IMAGE>
