PURPOSE:To improve dispersibility add antistatic property by using a surfactant for molding ceramic made of quat. ammonium salt of an org. acid at the time of producing electroceramic. CONSTITUTION:A tert. amine such as trimethylamine is allowed to react with a carbonic diester such as dimethyl carbonate and the resulting quat. ammonium carbonate is brought into an anion exchange reaction with an org. acid such as maleic acid to produce the objective surfactant for molding ceramic made of quat. ammonium salt of the org. acid contg. <=100ppm halogen atoms and <=100ppm alkali metals and alkaline earth metals. When a ceramic molded product is produced using the quat. ammonium salt, the performance of the product can be stabilized because the dispersibility of a ceramic material is improved and this method is especially effective in the field of electroceramic in which ceramic is molded in the form of a thin green sheet of several ten mum thickness. |
