PURPOSE:To provide an exhaust emission control device for collecting particulates contained in exhaust gas using a band filter circulated and regenerated. CONSTITUTION:Particulates contained in exhaust gas are collected by a band filter 1 formed of heat-resistant and oxidation-resistant unwoven fabric or mesh with voids of 100mum or less in void diameter. The band filter 1 can travel across an exhaust gas passage 12 by a feeder 11, and the part positioned at the peripheral edge of the exhaust gas passage 12 is sealed by an exhaust gas sealing frame 19 at the time of collecting particulates. A controller 10 controls the traveling movement of the band filter 1 in response to the collecting state of the band filter 1.
