摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To suppress the separation of a friction pad onto the outside of a disc at the braking time so as to prevent the rising delay of initial braking and the loss of braking force. CONSTITUTION:The male screw of an adjusting bolt screwed into the female screw hole of an adjusting nut is formed of a right-handed screw wound in the direction of a disc rotor 4 rotated in the direction of an arrow mark A so as to be delivered while being rotated in the opposite direction to the disc rotor 4, and torque in the opposite direction to the rotation of the disc rotor 4 is imparted to the adjusting nut advancing in the direction of the disc rotor 4 at the hydraulic braking time and to a piston 9 integral with the adjusting nut. An engaging recessed part 9d is formed at the front face of the bottom wall 9a of the piston 9, and the back face of the back plate 10b of a friction pad 10 is provided with an engaging protruding part 10d. The engaging recessed part 9d and the engaging protruding part 10d are engaged with each other more on the disc turn-in side than a disc radial line R so that the torque imparted to the piston 9 is transmitted to the friction pad 10 through the engaging recessed part 9d and the engaging protruding part 10d.</p>
