PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the refrigerant from being accumulated in an indoor heat exchanger for outdoor equipment which is suspended during heating operation. CONSTITUTION:Outdoor equipment 1 has an outdoor heat exchanger 12 and expansion valves Ev1 and Ev2. In door equipment 2 and 3 have indoor heat exchangers 21 and 31 connected to the expansion valves Ev1 and Ev2 respectively and temperature detection thermistors 22 and 32 which detect the condensation temperature in the indoor heat exchangers 21 and 31 and temperature detection thermistors 23 and 33 which detect the temperature of refrigerant on the outlet side of the indoor heat exchangers 21 and 31. A control unit computes the differential temperature between the condensation temperature in the suspended indoor heat exchangers 21 and 31 and the temperature of refrigerant on the outlet side. When the differential temperature is smaller than a definite value, the control unit transmits a control signal to open the expansion valves Ev1 and Ev2 so as to prevent the liquid from being accumulated in the indoor heat exchangers 21 and 31 which have suspended the operation.
