PURPOSE:To provide a packing device which can improve a loading capacity and prevent a load from collapsing, and at the same time, can facilitate the unpacking work by pulling out the packing device from the end of an article to be packed. CONSTITUTION:A packing device is made by bending one sheet of a corrugated fiberboard, and has a bottom plate part 28 and top plate part 29 which are confronted to each other, and a pair of side plate parts 30, 31 which are spanned between the bottom plate part 28 and top plate part 29, and at the same time, are confronted to each other. Also, the packing device is equipped with a main body 23 formed into a square cylindrical body in which the end part of an article to be packed 22 is stored, and a support body 27 of which both upper and lower end surfaces 27c, 27d respectively have a length to hit the inner surfaces of the bottom plate part 28 and top plate part 29, and are respectively attached to the inner surfaces of the side plate parts 30, 31, and at the same time, has a strength against a compression in the vertical direction. For this reason the side plate parts 30, 31 are reinforced by the supporting body 27, and a live load is supported, and at the same time, these supporting bodies 27 are utilized as a hold when the packing device is pulled out from the end part of an appliance 22. |
