<p>PURPOSE:To provide a waste water treating device which is energy-shaving and compact and applicable to high-load operation and capable of obtaining high-quality water from a concd. org. waste water. CONSTITUTION:This waste water treating device has an upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor 10 into which water to be treated is introduced and in which self-granulation of microorganisms is conducted, a biological filtration reactor 30 for aerobically treating the water treated by the reactor and a device 7 for circulating a part of the treated water passed through the biological filtration reactor to the upperflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor. A granule, in which the methane bacteria and denitrification bacteria formed by circulating a part of the treated water passed through the biological filtration reactor to the upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor coexist, is present in the upflow anaerobic sludge blanket reactor.</p> |
