发明名称 HYDROGEN STORAGE ALLOY, ITS PRODUCTION AND ENCLOSED SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrogen storage alloy excellent in hydrogen storing performance by mechanically alloying the powdery pure metals or the like of each structural element and producing the hydrogen storage alloy specified in the average particle diameter and crystal grain diameter. CONSTITUTION:The pure metal powder of each constituting element or a powdery mixture with an alloy containing a part of the constituting elements are filled in a vessel and after the vessel is evacuated at 100-200 deg.C and 10<-3>-10<5> Torr for 30-60 minutes replaced by gaseous Ar of >=99.9% purity and sealed, is mechanically alloyed at the revolution of about 250rpm for the treating time of about 100 hours. As a result, the alloy having 1-150mum average particle diameter and 1-100nm crystal grain diameter and composed of secondary structure is made and the hydrogen storage alloy capable of providing an enclosed secondary battery excellent in charge/discharge cycle property and having high energy density is obtained.
