RECOMBINANT PLASMID VECTOR, BACTERIUM OF GENUS BACILLUS AND PRODUCTION OF PORCINE GROWTH HORMONE

摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a large amount of a natural type porcine growth hormone at a low cost in a simple step. CONSTITUTION:This recombinant plasmid vector contains a hybrid porcine growth hormonal gene composed of a genetic region coding for as signal sequence of a protein secreted by a bacterium of the genus Bacillus such as Bacillus subtilis alpha-amylase, a structural genetic region of the porcine growth hormone located on the down stream side thereof and a promoter capable of functioning with a bacterium of the genus Bacillus such as the Bacillus subtilis on the upstream side of the hybrid porcine growth hormonal gene. A bacterium of the genus Bacillus such as a low-protease Bacillus subtilis is transformed by this vector and this method for producing a large amount of porcine growth hormone is to culture the resultant transformant.
