PURPOSE:To transmit o high load by using nonwoven fabric in which short fiber of a surface is formed without binder treating and the fiber of the surface is separated from a core during fluidizing of liquidlike polyurethane to be dif fused in an area near a central line of a tooth of the belt. CONSTITUTION:Nonwoven fabric 11 to be used is formed, for example, by a needle punch, etc., for entangling and confounding fibers in web by a mechanical action to generate strong force, and not binder-treated. Constituting short fiber 14 is separable. A surface 26 of the fabric 11 includes many short fibers, which are separated from a core 25 of the fabric 11 during fluidizing of liquid polyurethane to be easily diffused in an area near a central line 5 of a tooth 2 of a belt. Thus, a tooth flank for receiving highest compression stress of the tooth 2 and a power transmission area 7 including the tooth flank are reinforced to transmit a high load. |
