PURPOSE:To reduce the number of overshoot limit switches for the uppermost floor and reduce the cost by providing a weight contact on a balance weight, arranging the overshoot limit switches for the uppermost floor below the lowermost floor of a hoistway, and operating them via the weight contact. CONSTITUTION:A weight cam 21 is fitted on the side face of a balance weight 5, a plurality of overshoot limit switches 22A (22A1-22An) for the uppermost floor are arranged at an interval along the lifting direction below the lowermost floor 8 of a hoistway on the balance weight 5 side, and they are operated via the coupling of weight cam 21 respectively. Overshoot limit switches 11A (11A1-11An) for the lowermost floor are operated via a car cam 9 fitted on the side face of a car 4. When the car 4 overshoots the uppermost floor 7 during the lifting operation, the overshoot limit switches 22A for the uppermost floor are operated by the weight cam 21, thus a safety relay is de-excited, and the balance weight 5 is surely stopped within the stroke of a weight buffer 6B even when the car 4 passes through the uppermost floor 7. |
