PURPOSE:To allow a passenger to set a car to an operation stop and a release by the simple operating method after it is stopped on the nearest floor at the time of an earthquake or a crime by providing a means setting the car to an operation stop and a release after it is stopped on the nearest floor via the operation of a destination floor button provided in the car. CONSTITUTION:An elevator device 6 is provided with a central arithmetic device MPU 6a for the operation control according to the program stored in a ROM 6b. When a crime prevention switch SW 2 is turned on and all destination floor call buttons 1 are pushed, the outputs are read out via an interface 6f, a car is set to the door opened state and an operation stop after it is stopped at the nearest floor, and an operation stop instruction is outputted from the output interface 6g. Stop lamps 3, 4 are lighted and stop floor destination response/stop lamps 1L-5L are variously lighted by the operation stop instruction. The operation stop is released and the normal operation is resumed when a fixed time interval elapses after the destination floor call button of the stop floor is operated. |
