PURPOSE:To reduce the disturbance of flow, which flows into a fan, and reduce noise by a method wherein a downwardly type flow regulating guide, having an amount of projection into a suction chamber and a proper thickness in the radial direction thereof while provided with a guide passage aligned with the suction port of the fan, is provided at the center of the suction chamber side rim of the suction port of the fan. CONSTITUTION:A fan suction port 8 is opened downwardly on a suction partitioning plate 3, dividing the inside of a main body frame 1 into an opening unit 2 side and a ventilating machine chamber 5 side. A doughnut ring type flow regulating guide 18, having an amount of projection extended into a suction chamber 4 and provided with a hollow structure having a guide passage 17, whose diameter is aligned with the suction port 8, is provided at the center of the suction chamber 14 side rim of the suction port 8 of the fan. A jacket tube type flow regulating guide 18 is projected into the suction chamber 14 and parallel opposed surfaces will never be formed the rigid surface of the main body frame 1 and the outer peripheral surface of the flow regulating guide 18 whereby the generation of resonance sound can be suppressed. |
