<p>PURPOSE:To provide an opening adjusting structure of an air bag door for an automobile which keeps the opening locus of the air bag door constant, absorbs the energy to open the air bag door, adjusts the opening, requires no complicate working processes, and is extremely simple in operation and economical. CONSTITUTION:An opening adjusting member 20 having a circular groove part 21 to agree with the rotational locus of the door around a hinge part 11 from the closing to the opening is provided on the side part of an air bag door 10 in an integrated manner, and a frictional resistance part 22 where the width of the groove part becomes partially narrower is formed in the circular groove part. This constitution forms in an air bag storing part 41 an engagement/ projecting part 30 which is projected in the circular groove part of the opening adjusting member, engaged with the frictional resistance part in the groove part when the air bag door is rotated and opened, and reduces the opening speed of the air bag door, and is hooked to a terminal part 26 of the groove part and stops the rotation and opening of the air bag door.</p> |
