PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness by mixing a low-density PE having a specified melt flow rate and an oligomer having a terminal functional group at a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:A low-density PE having a melt flow rate of 1-20 g/10 min is mixed with an oligomer having one terminal functional group selected from hydroxy, amino, carboxyl and epoxy groups, comprising, e.g. hydroxy-terminated 1,4-polybutadiene and having a number-average molecular weight of about 800 to 15,000 and a usual plasticizer, stabilizing agent, filler, etc., in the prescribed proportions in, e.g. a Henschel mixer. The mixture is melt compounded through, e.g. a vented extruder at about 140-350 deg.C to form pellets, thus giving the objective composition which contains 70-98wt.% low-density PE and 30-2wt.% oligomer having a terminal functional group and is excellent in adhesiveness to a base material at relatively low temperature. |
