发明名称 METHOD FOR MOLDING TRANSPARENT GLASS FIBER REINFORCED RESIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molded form by covering mold wall surfaces for forming a mold cavity with heat insulating layers each made of heat resistant polymer having specified thermal conductivity, and bringing a refractive index of a resin component into coincidence with that of glass fiber. CONSTITUTION:Glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composition in which a refractive index of resin component is brought into coincidence with that of glass fiber is molded by using molds in which mold wall surfaces for forming a mold cavity of a main mold made of metal are covered with a heat insulating layers each made of heat resistant polymer having thermal conductivity of 0.002cal/cm.sec. deg. or less with a thickness of 0.05-2m. The polymer to be used preferably as the layer is heat resistant polymer having an aromatic ring in a main chain, and various non-crystalline heat resistant polymer to be dissolved in organic solvent, various polyimide, etc., can be preferably used. As the non- crystalline heat resistant polymer, polysulfone, polybenzimidazole, etc., are used.
