PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight shaking culture unit for microbe storable in a folded state, capable of mass culture, by sealing a flexible sheetlike cylinder made by folding both the sides inside with a heat-fusible synthetic resin layer on the inner surface and by blocking a side opening different from the culture fluid feed port with a filter member. CONSTITUTION:A flexible sheetlike cylinder made by folding both the sides inside is provided with heat-fused parts 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 via a heat-fusible synthetic resin layer on the inner surface. A culture fluid feed port 16 is formed near the upper end, and a side opening 11 is blocked with a filter member excellent in gas feed capacity. This filter member, which is made up of at least two kinds of filters differing in mesh size from one another, has excellent air permeability without passing sundry germs.
