PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a water screening material having characteristics of excellent cushioning properties, handleability, water running prevention, durability, heat resistance, etc., efficiently and at low cost without using any organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:This water screening material forming a water absorbing layer is produced by sprinkling ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin powder and highly water-absorbing resin powder on nonwoven fabric, heating to above the melting point of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin powder, and fusion bonding. |
