PURPOSE:To enhance storage stability by adding terpene di-o-cresol and a bisphenol A type epoxy resin as a coupling compd. CONSTITUTION:Terpene di-o-cresol and a bisphenol A type epoxy resin are added to the thermal color forming layer provided on a support. In this case, the wt. ratio of terpene di-o-cresol is set to the range of about 2 : 1-1 : 10. The bisphenol A type epoxy resin is pref. added to a thermal recording material excepting a support in an amt. of about l-50wt.%. When an intermediate layer is provided between the support and the thermal color forming layer or a protective layer is provided on the thermal color forming layer, the epoxy resin can be added to those layers or both of those layers and the thermal color forming layer. |
