PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of a flap by reducing the upward force required to open a flap whereby the bottom portion of a vessel in an annular vibratory processor or a space between a sheeting provided in the bottom portion of the vessel and a screen is opened. CONSTITUTION:The space between the top portion of a sheeting 9 provided in an annular vessel 11 in an annular vibratory processor and the base end of a screen 10 is closed with a flap 1. A mass (charge) 13 circulated in the vessel 11 is moved over the flap 1 as shown with a chain line 13 a onto the screen 10. Media 23 passed through the screen 10 are returned to the vessel 11, and only works 24 left on the screen 10 are discharged as shown with an arrow 13b. In order to open the flap 1 after a sorting operation has been finished, the flap 1 is backwardly moved while raising the base portion thereof as shown with reference numeral 1a to create a gap between the front end portion of the flap and the bottom of the vessel 11 and thereby allow a large quantity of mass 26 to flow downwardly therethrough.
