A resilient clip 10 for attaching an article e.g. a moulding strip 11 to a support surface 12 having a headed stud 13 projecting therefrom, comprises a body 14 having a bore 24 extending therethrough and a slot 23 which extends lengthwise of the body and through the bore thereby dividing the body into two deflectable portions which are joined at the ends of the body, the bore being tapered from one end towards the other, and the deflectable portions enabling the head of the stud to be forced through the bore. As shown, in which the clip is formed from a plastics material, the body is provided with article-engaging arms 17, 18 and 19. In other arrangements, Figs. 5-8 (not shown), the head of the stud is wholly or partially recessed into the body. |
