1,067,924. Cams; gearing for conveying rotary motion. BLAUPUNKT-WERKE G.m.b.H. Oct. 29, 1965 [Oct. 30, 1964], No. 45793/65. Headings F2K and F2Q. [Also in Division H3] . Step-wise rotary motion is conveyed from a shaft 34 to the tuning shaft 3 of a television receiver in two stages by cams and toothed gearing, and at the same time a further cam system alters the wave-band. The shaft 34 drives through bevel gearing 33 two cam discs 6, 8 on a shaft 31, the lower end of which (Fig. 2, not shown) carries a 6-star wheel engaged by a roller on an arm attached to the framework. The disc 6 has cams 24 which project below the disc (Fig. 2, not shown) and co-operate with a spring-loaded lever 26 attached to a rocker arm 7 carrying a gear sector 29 which meshes with a pinion 30 on the tuning shaft 3. The disc 8 has cams 11 which press against a frame 5 pivoted on a rod 16 and thereby move an arm 2 to change the wave-band. The cams 24 are mounted on radial screwed rods (Fig. 4, not. shown) for pre-set adjustment. The disc 8 is mounted on a 6-lobed Maltese cross (Fig. 3, not shown), the cams 11 being slidable in the slots of the cross and adjustable at the top of the plate by projections 10. The parts of the cams within the slots are of square cross-section. |
