TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide uniform service to all logical units LUs (terminal) independently of the length of message by interrupting transmission of a long message to transmit a message destined for another logical unit at the time of transmitting the long message to one logical unit from a packet assembling/decomposing device in a packet network which receives messages from a host. CONSTITUTION:A terminal cluster TC 12 and a packet assembling/disassembling device PAD 14 are provided. The TC 12 transmits and receives messages to and from plural terminals placed under itself and transmits and receives messages to and from the PAD 14, and the PAD 14 receives messages transmitted from the TC 12 to transfer them to a host 16 and enqueues messages transferred from the host 16 in queues of respective logical units LUs set in messages and successively transmits messages circularly taken out from queues to the TC 12.
