PURPOSE:To simplify scroll operation in the case of viewing the whole image by obtaining a recording image area of the image data based on an unrecorded area and performing a reduction processing so that the recording image area fails into a display area. CONSTITUTION:When a central control part 1 detects a margin part and an information recording part by an end part detection part 3, calculates a reduction rate so that the information recording part of the image data fall into displayable pixels of a display part 6 in the direction of a main scan. The central control part l controls a reduction processing part 4 so that the whole original image data stored in an image memory 2 is reduction processed with the led out reduction rate. Then, the reduction data reduction-processed in the reduction processing part 4 are stored in the image memory 2 temporarily. When the central control part 1 detects the margin part of the reduction image data stored in the image memory 2, sends the image data displayable on the display part 6 to a display memory 5. The reduction image data sent to the display memory 5 are displayed on the display part 6. |
