METHOD FOR CREATION AND/OR CHANGE OF NC PROGRAM

PURPOSE: To improve the perspective and readability of an NC program by gathering the sets of NC data to a plurality of groups and hierarchically arranged and divided a plurality of low-order groups and providing comments for explanation of a division point. CONSTITUTION: An NC control part is provided with a central unit 1, a storage device 2 for the NC program, a processing storage device 3 for dividing the program and a screen 5 provided with a large number of windows 5a-5c. The NC program is divided into the groups of the sets of the hierarchically arranged NC data. The sets of the NC data of the respective groups belonging under a certain division point are arranged before the special set of the NC data. The special set of the NC data indicates the start of a new division point and the comment for the explanation is provided as the title of the division point. The NC program is displayed in the two or more windows 5a-5c on the screen 5 in generating program and in processing a program. One of the windows 5a-5c is provided with the entire NC program as a series of the sets of the NC data.
