The protection device includes an envelope which is fully or partially watertight. An interior volume of the envelope is mostly filled with an electrical fluid. One or more reactances are immersed in the fluid. The envelope includes a breakable element which breaks if the internal pressure of the envelope exceeds a given threshold level. When the envelope breaks, the contents of the envelope are put in contact with a watertight decompression chamber. The chamber has walls partially made of a flexible elastic material. |
