<p>Apparatus for settling dirty liquid, provided with a reservoir and a liquid feed unit arranged centrally in the reservoir, the reservoir being provided with a cover which rests on the centrally disposed liquid feed unit. The cover can be of flat and horizontal design and rest on the rim of the reservoir. The cover can be provided with substantially sectorial panels which, with their arcuate edge, rest on the rim of the reservoir and, with their narrow end, rest on the liquid feed unit. The centrally disposed liquid feed unit can be provided with an upwards-extending support which, by means of pulling elements, is linked to the cover at points away from the liquid feed unit. A scraping member movable across the bottom of the reservoir to shift sediment.</p> |
