A weld joint for hollow parts, partic. synthetic materials, made by assembling by welding of them cooperating peripheral edges by vibration welding. The weld zone (1) occurs in lateral burr hides (2) each of which is provided with a means (3) to deflect the weld burr as it is produced, in the form of a projecting chicane (6) in the force forming the weld. The chicane has a height at least equal to that of the window naturally formed between the outside walls (5) of the parts to be joined. |
