A process for the fabrication of axisymmetrical composite components with a metal matrix. Prior to hot isostatic compaction, it consists of winding simultaneously and side to side, on a mandrel (1) of appropriate shape, at least one ceramic reinforcing fibre (2) and at least one metal wire (3, 4) leading to making up the matrix in a manner that assures an absence of contact between the turns of the fibre of the same layer and the fibres of the two adjacent layers. The composite axisymmetrical components produced by this process are also claimed. |
