The lid (10) is attached to a drinks can (2) by means of three clips (17) which are placed at 120 degrees around the edges of the lower face of the lid. A handle (11) is fixed to the lid adjacent to a clip (17). The handle has a part (19) which extends downwards, perpendicular to the lid, and parallel to the can axis. The lid is detached from the can by pulling on the part (19) of the handle which levers and disengages the clip. Around the opening in the lid is a space (30) delimited by an elastic ring (31) inserted in a groove (32) which provides a seal between the lower face of the lid and the can (20). The pipe (13) projecting from the lid has parallel peripheral gusseted folds allowing its retraction into the lid opening.
