PURPOSE:To record data at high velocity by scanning a laser head additionally by a number of learning requirements when the learning requirements for a laser power are generated during the processing/recording time of consecutive sectors. CONSTITUTION:In recording data to an optical disc by an optical data-recording apparatus 1, a recording instruction is input to the optical disc 1 from a host computer 3 via an interface 2. A CPU 7 of a microcomputer 5, in compliance with a fetched instruction to a memory 6, allots data to each sector on the optical disc and stores the data in the memory 6. Upon receipt of the recording instruction, the CPU 7 drives a motor-driving part, a seek control circuit 4, a laser power control circuit 8, a timer circuit 9 and a thermo circuit 10. Accordingly, an optical head is scanned by the seek control circuit 4 to a position of a sector where the data are to be recorded and, the CPU 7 sequentially reads out data of one sector stored and held in the memory 6 and outputs the data as a data signal to the laser power control circuit 8. In this manner, data are sequentially recorded to sectors on the optical disc. |
