BRANCH PART-ATTACHED CABLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a branch part-attached cables with good productivity and laying workability by pressing and fixing branch terminals like branches in conductors which are naked parts of main cables and connecting branch cables to the branch terminals through socket parts. CONSTITUTION:A branch terminal 3 is a pressed and fixed like a branch in a conductor naked part 2 of a main cable 1 through a sleeve 4. A molded insulator 5 is integrally formed on the conductor branch part. A socket part 3a having a terminal insertion hole 5a facing downward is formed in the extended end of the branch-like branch terminal 3. The molded insulator 5 is preferably formed together with the terminal insertion hole 5a by injection molding of resin. A pin-like terminal 9 of a branch cable 7 is inserted into the socket part 3a through the insertion hole 5a to be connected with the main cable 1. Further, the terminal insertion hole 5a is preferably made to have a pin-like plug shape (not shown in the figure) and enabled to be closed.
