PURPOSE: To provide the highly integrated real time three-dimensional graphic system of high performance at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: The respective objects of three-dimensional images to be displayed are indicated by a set of infinite planes. For the respective basic areas of a screen to display images, a ray is projected through them to the three- dimensional image. The crossing positions of the projected ray and the respective planes are decided and whether or not a crossing plane is visible in the basic area is decided from the positions. Based on the result of the decision, the basic areas are shaded for display. |
