PURPOSE:To enable the flexible addition and deletion of inclusive relations of instances, to facilitate the maintenance operation of the whole MIB (Management Information Base) of OSI management and to enable efficient network management. CONSTITUTION:In files 11 and 12 divided by depth levels of an inclusion tree, parent-child and brother relations showing inclusive relations of instances are held with pointers. Management information on the instances are stored in files 21, 22... 2n divided by management object classes and management information on a corresponding instance in a file storing management information is indicated with a painter from a file storing inclusion relations. Further, an instance file contains a maximum attribute quantity 71a and attribute value maximum size 71b also has the update time 73 of management information as inform for every instance..
