PURPOSE: To increase the communication ability of the power supply part while reducing requests on wiring between the power supply part by providing a microprocessor provided with an A/D converter mutually connected to a corona generation potential source, a sensor and a controller for adjusting a potential on an image light receiving body. CONSTITUTION: This processor is provided with a corona generator 28, the corona generation potential source, the sensor for determining the potential on the image light receiving body and the microprocessor 114 provided with the A/D converter mutually connected to the corona generation potential source, the sensor and the controller 26 for adjusting the potential on the image light receiving body. Control signals and monitoring signals are converted to serial data and communicated with the main process controller 26 of a master for performing generation through a serial communication bus. The microprocessor 114 is mutually connected to an electrostatic voltmeter 38 as well by a connector 118 and the control of correction by an adjustment device 102 is performed for the potential of a wire grid 98 based on information from the electrostatic voltmeter 38 similarly to the one from the controller 26.
