PURPOSE:To provide a pump for sampling gas from a plant process handling a poisonous, dangerous, or expensive gas in which leakage is suppressed sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:A cover 17 is jointed hermetically to the housing of a pump body 1 having hermetic structure except the penetrating rotary shaft and the housing of a drive motor 10 in the region where the coupling 4, 13 of the pump body 1 and the drive motor are located.
