PURPOSE:To output only registered notation as a KANJI (Chinese character) candidate in response to the input of KANA (Japanese syllabary) characters and to exclude other candidates. CONSTITUTION:An input means 11 inputs KANA characters and a conversion means 16 converts the inputted KANA characters into corresponding KANJI characters. A word registering means 15 correspondingly registers the reading and notation of the KANA characters. An other candidate excluding dictionary 14 retrieves the means 15 in response to the input of KANA characters by the input means 11, outputs only the registered notation from the conversion means 16 as a KANJI candidate and excludes other candidates. A frequency registering means is prepared to register frequency information for the use of KANA notation. An other candidate excluding flag registering means is prepared to correspondingly register the reading of KANA characters and notation outputting no KANA. |
