PURPOSE:To easily perform printing faithfully to the printing position and the printing size, etc., of the displayed content of a display device and to improve the operability of the display device by directly printing the displayed content on the display surface of the display device on paper. CONSTITUTION:This printer is provided with a TFT liquid crystal display device 1 provided with a TFT liquid crystal panel 1a, and a printer 3 having a moving printing unit(developing device) 2 moving on the upper surface of the display device 1 in the directions shown by arrows A and B. In the printer 3, the displayed content of the panel 1a is directly printed on the paper by arranging the paper on the panel 1a. Namely, at the time of printing, a negative video signal is inputted to a transparent electrode for printing, whereby the paper arranged on the panel 1a is electrostatically charged to be negative, toner is attracted by electrostatic force, and a toner image in accordance with the displayed content is directly fixed on the paper. Therefore, the displayed content of the panel 1a is directly printed on the paper. |
