PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for adjustment by shortening the access time for a data receiving/passing process and to improve the reliability by eliminating an omission of transmission of data in the POS system to which a purchased commodity storage and conveyance device (scan cart, etc.) with a self-scanning function is applied. CONSTITUTION:The purchased commodity storage and conveyance device 1 is equipped with a two-dimensional bar code print part 7 which prints out commodity code information from a commodity code read part 2 as a two-dimensional bar code, and a liquidation POS terminal 8 is equipped with a two-dimensional bar code read part 9 which reads out the two-dimensional bar code printed out by the two-dimensional bar code print part 7, a price retrieval part 10 which retrieves the prices of respective commodities 15 in a storage part 3 on the basis of the two-dimensional bar code information, and a totalization part 11 which performs the final liquidation of purchased commodities in the storage part 3 on the basis of the retrieval result of the price retrieval part 10. |
