PURPOSE:To receive picture data without production of a noise sound and very small vibration when a still environment is desired by storing tentatively picture data arrived at a set specific time and starting the print of the data after the elapse of a set time. CONSTITUTION:When a control signal is detected by a modem 2, a CPU 3 discriminates an opposite equipment to be a facsimile equipment and when not, the CPU 3 discriminates the opposite equipment to be a telephone set. After the discrimination of the facsimile equipment, the CPU 3 controls the modem 2 to make connection according to the connection procedure. Simultaneously the CPU 3 reads a current time from a clock circuit 8 and reads a memory reception start time and end time from a memory circuit 5, and whether or not a current time is within a time zone desiring memory reception is discriminated. When the CPU 3 discriminates a call to be a call for a time zone desiring memory reception, the CPU 3 switches a changeover circuit 4 to allow reception picture data to be outputted to a code memory 9. When the received picture data are stored in the memory 9 and the reception is finished, the interruption is executed according to the interruption procedure. |
