<p>PURPOSE:To allow a cart to travel automatically in conformity with the movement of a player in an automatic traveling cart in a golf links. CONSTITUTION:In the cart, etc., to move on a definite track, a radio wave is transmitted always from a small-sized radio wave transmitter the player carries, and this radio wave is received by the receivers installed at three or more distant points in the golf links, and their received intensities are transferred to a controller. Distances between the transmitter and the receivers (more than 3 points) are calculated from the received intensities. The intersecting point of three or more circles whose centers are each receiver (more than 3 points) and whose radiuses are each calculated distance is determined. The intersecting point shows the position of the player. The cart is moved to the track nearest to this intersecting point by radio from the controller. By executing above-mentioned operation repeatedly, the cart can be operated automatically at the same time as the player moves in an unmanned state.</p> |
