The system consists in creating an enclosure around the whole perimeter of the object 1 to be protected, based on a semi-permeable membrane 11, which may optionally collaborate with an impermeable membrane 12, in certain zones of the object, so that the internal atmosphere 3 of said object is made independent of the external atmosphere 2 and, when a new atmosphere is incorporated inside the object 1, the composition and pressure of which are controlled and regulated by suitable means, the semi-permeable membrane 11 allows the original internal atmosphere 3 to move outside through the membrane, without external elements being able to return. Internal 4 and external 5 detectors allow the internal 3 and external 2 atmospheres to be controlled, respectively, and a control unit 6 analyses this information and, together with a forced diffusion regulator 8, sends the components of the new atmosphere into the object 1, said components coming from respective supply reservoirs 9 through suitably distributed emitters 10. <IMAGE>
