The fan arrangement comprises a fan wheel (22) which delivers air in the radial direction in the front wheel of a vehicle. The fan wheel draws in air through inlet openings (28) in the central region of the wheel rim dish (10). Alternatively the fan can be positioned to deliver the air along an outer closed circumferential region (36) of the inner side of the wheel rim, using the openings (52).
