PURPOSE:To provide a tubular module with end structure which is easily loaded or unloaded and never hinders the flow of raw liq., by folding back the tubular semipermeable membrane through an end element, and by fixing the membrane from outside. CONSTITUTION:A tubular semipermeable membrane 1 made of cellulose acetate etc. is inserted into a porous supporting tube 2 made of metallic tube etc. beyond the end, and the membrane is folded back at the end 45 of the thin wall part 44 of the end element 4. To prevent the membrane 1 from breaking at the end 45, a packing 71 is attached to the thin wall part 44 so as to surround it. The larger-diameter part 52 of a box nut 5 is fitted to an outer cylinder by a screw 3 so as to press the wall surface 61 of a connecting tube 6 with smaller-diameter part 51, the tapered part 62 of the tube 6 pressing a packing 72 which surrounds the end of the membrane 1, thus the membrane is fixed. The liq. to be treated is pressed 12 into the module thus constituted, and while it passes through the raw liq. paths 8, the liq. permeated selectively through the membrane 1 passes through the supporting tubes 2 and a storage space 9 which is surrounded by the outer cylinder 3, and is discharged 10 to the outside. |
