A multi-wire 1 flexible power line has integrated optical waveguides arranged as an optical waveguide cable 3 in one of the outer filling portions of the powder wires, the said cable 3 having a plastics shell 8 arranged around the twisted or loosely bunched optical waveguides 7, and a heat-insulating coating 9, and the energy fitting-portion chamber housing the optical waveguide cable 3 is filled with a filler 4 of jute threads or a similar material for protection against compression. The optical waveguide cable has a braiding 10 made of steel or plastics wires, which is stable under compression. Partial protective conductor wires 2, inner shell 5 and outer 6 are shown. <IMAGE>
